Klepto Ruins is a place in Mario Party Advance. It is located in the desert area of Shroom City, but it can only be accessed by a pathway near the entrance to the seaside area. It is a simple stone platform (although the stone is cracked and occasionally shows ancient glyphs) that holds the ruins' treasure, surrounded almost entirely by desert interspersed with stone pillars. The treasure is protected by the ruins' guardian, Klepto. At one point, the ruins is visited by Mr. E in search of treasure, and he asks the player to help him search for the treasure in the ruins. Agreeing to help starts the Treasure of Mystery! quest; Klepto quickly reveals the treasure's location after being asked, and Mr. E asks the player to unlock it. The code is Klepto's verbal tic ("4444"), and once opened, Mr. E leaves the treasure alone before leaving and Klepto gives the player the Map Maker Gaddget (leaving the actual treasure behind).
