The '''Super Poltergust 3001''' is an upgraded version of the [[Poltergust 3000]] found in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga]]'' and [[Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions|its remake]]. It was created by [[Professor E. Gadd]]. He flies in on this machine after the Mario Bros. have obtained a series of drinks at [[Starbeans Cafe]]. The Super Poltergust 3001 appears to have a vacuum to suck up ghosts, just as the original Poltergust did; however, this one is shaped so one can be able to ride it and travel at high speeds.

While this rideable Poltergust is shown in ''Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga'', the original Poltergust 3000 can be ridden on as well, but only in the PAL version of ''[[Luigi's Mansion]]'' during the fight with [[Boolossus]] in the [[Hidden Mansion]]. Additionally, a third rideable Poltergust, known as the [[Poltergust 4000]], is one of [[Luigi]]'s [[kart]]s in ''[[Mario Kart DS]]''.
