Dizzy and Crumpled[edit]
In Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, do Dizzy and Crumpled function exactly the same way, with no difference? Can Paper Mario get dizzy, or are the two effects mutually exclusive?

- They do function the same way, and Paper Mario (along with all Paper enemies) can only get crumpled.

Why is "Flipped" merged here?[edit]
Why are we covering "Flipped" in the Dizzy article?
I haven't found any (official) instances Super Paper Mario referring to this status aliment as "Dizzy," and there is also a separate, more traditional "Dizzy" state in the game. (Albeit, one that only works on enemies and grabbable bosses.)
"Flipped" doesn't even function the same as previous versions of Dizzy, with its relation to the Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door or Paper Mario Sticker Star versions of the effect... feeling somewhat loose.
Neither the Prima or the Nintendo Power guides ever appear to call this state as "Dizzy" either. I think I ought to split Flipped into its own separate page. 108.208.40.205 23:07, November 22, 2025 (EST)

- I just split the article last night. Before then, it would simply redirect to this page. Wandering Poplin (talk) 13:28, December 11, 2025 (EST)
