Donkey Kong Barrel Maze

OBJECTIVE:
Safely deliver the barrel of bananas to Donkey Kong on each of the ten levels before the time runs out!

CONTROLS:
Use the arrow keys or the number pad to direct the barrel in the corresponding direction. NOTE: Many of the paths are on an angle and require you to use a combination of arrows to get you moving in the correct direction.

PICK-UPS:
HOURGLASS: Adds 30 seconds to your time.
BANANAS: Repairs[sic] damage to your barrel.
GOLD BARREL: Awards 2000 points.
SILVER BARREL: Awards 1000 points.

LIVES:
You have 5 lives to complete all ten levels. Every 25,000 points you earn, you will be awarded an extra life.

ENEMIES:
BUZZARD: Flies above and tries to cause damage by dropping coconuts on your barrel.
ENEMY BARREL: Chases your barrel and causes damage every time it hits you.
BOULDER: Pursues your barrel in a straight line and causes damage if it hits you.
VENUS FLY TRAP: Grows out of the ground and causes damage by biting your barrel.
CLIFFS: Falling off a cliff can cause damage, depending on the height of the drop. If the drop is too far, the barrel will break.

QUIT/SUBMIT:

Split objects[edit]

Brown Block This talk page proposal has already been settled. Please do not edit this section or its subsections. If you wish to discuss the article, please do so in a new section below the proposal.

Split objects 4-0
This is a trial run for a larger proposal I may make later on.

In terms of shows, comics, games, and films, unique objects are split to their own articles. For instance, we split all types (for the most part) of platforms, collectibles, items, power-ups, etcetera. This game features multiple unique objects and levels (the latter of which will potentially be subject to the aforementioned later proposal) that are currently merged to this article. Each of these objects have enough information in regards to where they are and what they do (with some expansion) that they could comfortably warrant their own articles. This also wouldn't be the first time that something solely appearing in a browser game has been split (for instance, Jimmy (NES Classics microsite), Pixelland, Toad's Game Board). In short, I believe the unique objects (some of which are currently redirects) appearing in this game should be split to their own articles. Variants of existing enemies (i.e. Buzzard a.k.a. Necky) could stay merged.

Split levels[edit]

A Yellow Block from Super Mario World This talk page section contains an unresolved talk page proposal. Please try to help and resolve the issue by voting or leaving a comment.

This is a second trial run for a larger proposal I may make later on.

Per my reasoning in the above proposal. As I said in the above proposal, unique levels are also split to their own articles. We split bonus minigames, we split battle modes, we split all types of levels in Super Mario video games. This game features multiple unique levels (which feature a substantial amount of information) currently merged to this article. The only thing that these levels don't have is a name, but.. well.. technically, neither does World 1-1. This wouldn't be the first time something solely appearing in a browser game has been split, and these levels could fill out their own articles (for instance, their time limits, their contents, other stuff in each level). Thus, I believe these should be split.

Support Maze 2[edit]

  1. Nelsonic Maze 2 (talk) Per proposal.
  2. Camwoodstock (talk) We're genuinely unsure if this needs a proposal... We'd wager the only reason these levels remain merged is the obscurity of the source material, rather than because of some weird stipulation that the levels in this game don't count as levels for one reason or another.
  3. Rykitu Barrel Maze 2: Electric Boogaloo (talk) Per Camwoodstock. If the items and objects in the game are split, I don't see why the levels shouldn't be split.
  4. Wilben (talk) Per all.
  5. Power Flotzo (talk) Per all.
