There's a generic frog enemy in Mega Man 2 called Kerog, which is the only other thing I know of to have that name. Not sure if this is related to Bowser being called "Kerog" or not.

:That being Croaker's Japanese name was mentioned on here at one point, but since a connection there doesn't make any sense, it was removed. "Kero" is Japanese for "croak," essentially.
