Talk:List of Special Attacks in Mario and Luigi games
Keep or delete page[edit]
With all due respect, I don't think this page should be deleted. The page will cover all Special Attacks, whether it be Bros. Attacks, Luiginary Attacks, Brawl Attacks, Trio Attacks, etc. Super Eli (talk) 10:10, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
- We already have pages which list those things, and they're all complete too. There is no need for this one. Nightwicked Bowser
If I want to find a simple list of all Special Attacks, Trio Attacks, etc., it's quite cumbersome to scroll through all of the different ones. This would solve that problem by creating one definitive page for all of those topics, while also rendering all the separate ones that individually differentiate between all of those different topics obsolete. Super Eli (talk) 10:19, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
- I'm afraid that's not exactly how this wiki works. If there are already pages listing those things, even if the four types are listed in seperate pages (which are all linked in the Bros. Attack article), another list just for that purpose outside of the categories is pointless. Nightwicked Bowser
Alright then. You can delete it if you want.Super Eli (talk) 11:03, September 16, 2020 (EDT)

Since the page is getting deleted anyway, I figured now would be a good time to ask; what kinds of new pages are you looking for? For example, would making a page on the Super Mario 64 iceberg count be a good idea? If not, what new page would be a good idea? Super Eli (talk) 11:03, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
- Does that iceberg count under the generic subjects policy? If not, then no. (T|C) 11:13, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
Actually, it's not a real iceberg. It's a metaphor for secrets about Mario 64. Look it up, it's actually pretty interesting. At the top, you've got well-known theories like L is real, but towards the bottom, obscure secrets like the theory that every copy of Mario 64 is personalized start to emerge. It's basic facts about Mario 64, with a couple of urban legends thrown in. However, it's not official and was created by fans, hence my being unsure whether or not I should put it in. Super Eli (talk) 11:20, September 16, 2020 (EDT)
- That's definitely not within our coverage. Nightwicked Bowser
- Content like that would either belong on List of Mario references on the Internet or List of rumors and urban legends about Mario. Most likely they'd belong on the former page since "They're jokes, not serious misconceptions about SM64's content" as Glowsquid said when it was brought up previously. -- Too Bad! We should probably move this discussion to Super Eli's talk page. Nightwicked Bowser
