:::By the way, if someone has access to the files of the Booster Course Pass, it would be nice to know what are the internal names there, they sadly seem very messy: Tour Paris Promenade is cnsw_11, so they use the new c course code (course pass) instead of d (DLC) like in Mario Kart 8, they arbitrarily name Paris Promenade 11 instead of Paris like in Mario Kart Tour and they arbitrarily brand it as a Nintendo Switch course which is technically true - this layout isn't playable in Mario Kart Tour - but also not very promising if we want to know more about the origin of the courses. Hopefully it's just city courses of the Pass (that are all original layouts) that have an internal name this messed up.--Mister Wu (talk) 05:03, July 30, 2022 (EDT)

::::Never mind, I can confirm that they just didn't bother assigning a final unified name to the courses of the pass, they just use what look like preliminary/placeholder unified names. Good thing that at least on Mario Kart Tour they didn't give up on giving a proper unified name to each course...--Mister Wu (talk) 05:24, July 30, 2022 (EDT)

A confirmation: the official Twitter post of the Sundae Tour revealed that Sky-High Sundae won't have any platform prefix in its Tour in-game name, this means that, as expected, we can't really treat it as a classic course, more likely as a new course in both Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The platform code will tell us where to put it in the various templates, but wording-wise I'd say that it's better to treat it like Nintendo is doing, as a new course in both games. By the way, I can sadly confirm that the whole Booster Course Pass will use placeholder names for all its courses, meaning that we'll need to rely on both the official name and the internal name in Mario Kart Tour.--Mister Wu (talk) 05:06, August 5, 2022 (EDT)
