How do we feel about "local objective" to fully replace "story mission"?[edit]

Okay, so bouncing around the wiki, we've been calling a whole bunch of Odyssey objectives "missions" for lack of better words, and trying to delineate between the "mission-like" objectives and the objectives that are orders to go to the next kingdom or to collect more Power Moons by calling the first set "story missions". The Prima guide bites the bullet and says "objective" for most everything, but the excerpt I have on hand does say "local objective" and "local main objectives". As in, these sentences:

  • "In addition to collecting Power Moons, you usually have a local objective to complete before you can move on."
  • "After the local main objectives are attended to and the Odyssey is fueled and ready to go, the locals surely still have more errands for travelers looking to extend their stays.

How do we feel about find/replacing "story mission" with one or the other of the bolded phrases? I want to do it. "Story mission" just isn't backed up by anything that's not "that's what the old games said and obviously Odyssey's structure should match". Salmancer (talk) 18:13, December 21, 2024 (EST)
