The Teddy Buggy is an unlockable ATV body that appears in Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. As what the name suggests, it resembles a teddy bear with a brown seat that has the Mario Kart logo engraved on it. The emblem is located on the front left leg. Its stats are identical to the Standard Kart, Cat Cruiser, Prancer, Sneeker, The Duke, and the 300 SL Roadster, meaning it does not grant nor decrease any stats, being the only ATV not to cause any stat changes. When in anti-gravity mode, the legs turn sideways alongside the wheels equipped with the ATV. This vehicle's engine sound is shared with Standard Kart, Pipe Frame, Sneeker, Gold Standard and Wild Wiggler, which is that of a 2.0L straight-four engine.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, CPU Baby Peach is often seen using this body with the Wood tires, while a CPU-controlled female Villager, Toadette, or Peachette can be seen using this ATV with the Button tires instead. Additionally, the Teddy Buggy now instead shares its stats with the Cat Cruiser, Comet and Yoshi Bike. The 200cc staff ghost Baby Rosalina rides this ATV in Baby Park.

Trivia
*The Teddy Buggy is the only ATV in Mario Kart 8 to not increase nor decrease any stats.
*The Teddy Buddy is one of three vehicles to have the Mario Kart logo engraved on it, the others' being the Sneeker, and Mr. Scooty.
*This body (complete with tires) appears in the scenery of Ribbon Road, alongside the Standard Kart and the Biddybuggy.
**It is the only one of these three in the original Mario Kart 8 to not be a kart, and not change colors depending on the character.
*This vehicle's engine sound is shared with Standard Kart, Pipe Frame, Sneeker, Gold Standard and Wild Wiggler.
