The kart infobox is used to give general information for the driveable vehicles in the Mario Kart series. This includes karts, bikes, ATVs, trikes[Japanese] and mobiles[Japanese], as well as the separate gliders and tires in games with customizable vehicles.

| |title= | By default, this is not necessary, as it will automatically use the article title sans identifier. For special cases, it can be manually specified. |
| |image= | An image of the kart from the most recently released game.[Proposal 1] Preferably without a driver. If it has multiple color schemes, the default one—or alternatively Mario's—is also preferred. |
| |size= | The size of the kart, if it is locked to certain classes, such as in Mario Kart Wii. |
| |strong= | A list of the kart's strongest stats by games it appears in. |
| |average= | A list of the kart's average stats by games it appears in. |
| |weak= | A list of the kart's weakest stats by games it appears in. |
| |appears_in= | The games in which this kart appears in. |
| |variant_of= | Another kart that the kart is based on (i.e. the Spicy Zucchini is based on the Zucchini). |
| |variants= | Any variants of this kart, (i.e. the Spicy Zucchini is based on the Zucchini). |
