They are a flying variety of [[Strollin' Stu]], resembling one but with a peach-colored skin and a blue bottom. Each Winged Strollin' Stu has no feet and a pair of wings that flutter rapidly. Winged Strollin' Stus idly hover in place, and if [[Mario]] is nearby, a Winged Strollin' Stu starts to fly towards him. When directly above Mario, a Winged Strollin' Stu swoops down, taking away a wedge of his [[Health Meter#Super Mario Sunshine|life meter]] upon contact. A Winged Strollin' Stu can be defeated either from [[F.L.U.D.D.|FLUDD]] or a [[stomp]]. In secret courses, Winged Strollin' Stus fly back and forth along a fixed trajectory. Winged Strollin' Stus have a larger, green variety named [[Swipin' Stu]].
