In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it is found in Keelhaul Key, underneath the bridge. In Paper Mario, equipping the Badge increases the strength of Mario's attacks against fire enemies by two, and allows him to safely jump on fire enemies, while in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, it combines the functions of its previous iteration with those of the Fire Shield badge, raising his defense against all fire attacks by one.
