Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is an upcoming Nintendo Switch remaster of the Wii game Donkey Kong Country Returns. It was first announced during the Nintendo Direct on June 18, 2024, and is set to be released worldwide on January 16, 2025. The game features all levels from Donkey Kong Country Returns; aspects from the Nintendo 3DS game Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D are also included (i.e. the Cloud levels). It is the second remaster and sixth overall rerelease in the Donkey Kong Country series to be released for the Nintendo Switch, following the port of the Wii U game Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze.
