Abandon Ship is a 4-player mini-game in Mario Party 2. Its name comes from the order "Abandon Ship".
In this mini-game, the four characters are on a large ship that crashes into a boulder, causing it to start sinking. Quickly, the players must climb the masts to get to the top of the ship. Players can quickly climb up by repeatedly tapping the A button. Sometimes, Cheep-Cheeps jump out of the water and hit the player, which stuns and pushes them down the pole. At that same time, the water level rises. Players can fall in the water and be taken by Bloopers if they aren't climbing fast enough. Also, the players have to move left and right to avoid wooden bars. Coins can be collected this way, too. The first player to reach the top first wins the minigame.
