Although Blow Hards are cacti, they never actually appear in deserts.
Blow Hard is a green cactus that spits Needlenoses at Yoshi in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and Yoshi's Island DS. Pound the ground nearby to KO it, but it will wake up a few seconds later. It will always be facing Yoshi, so be careful. Any solid objects and platforms can stop their projectiles, however.
He is not to be confused with the Mario Party 3 duel board, Blowhard. They share a similar name.
