World 6-3 is the third main course in World 6. This course contains lots of streching mushrooms which live underground. Koopa troopas and Fire Bros appear in this course. Gold rings also appear.
The Course
At the start of the course you must go down a red pipe to take you to the underground. There is also a 1up mushroom at the far side before entering the underground. Ungerground there are a lot of mushrooms that strech and few Koopa troopas plus 2 Fire bros throughout the section. Before the Checkpoint flag, there is another Strech mushroom that leads you to the first star coin and you must duck to collect this. After the Checkpoint flag, there is a red ring with 4 Strech mushrooms where you can collect an item. Then it's a straight path with more Strech mushrooms until you find a yellow pipe that leads to the second star coin but with Fire bros and a gold ring. If you continue forward and you go to the far end when you pass through more Fire bros and a gold ring, the third star coin can be collected only by going on the top platform with a red pipe that leads to the exit. If you go across the bottom, a few more Strech platforms with lots of coins until you reach the yellow pipe. This pipe also leads to the exit. The falgpole then appears with a Koopa troopa along the steps. You can only get to the top with Racoon Mario.

Star Coins
- Star Coin 1: This coin is on top of an extending magenta mushroom platform, but covered in Brick Blocks. The player must use the nearby Red Koopa Troopa shell to get rid of the bricks that block that star coin.
- Star Coin 2: When the player sees the second Fire Bro., they must enter the yellow pipe to take them to a secret room with two Fire Bros. and the star coin.
- Star Coin 3: Before the exit, the player must run on the brick block ceiling instead of the lower magenta mushroom platforms to find a hidden path to the third Star Coin.
