Template:Coinpackbox Coin Challenge Pack B[1] (named Challenge the Record B in Japan) is the second of three Coin Rush packs to be released by the end of October.

Course 1

Template:Levelbox A Ghost House with blue disappearing/reappearing blocks.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: In the first room, the Star Coin is located on the top right of the page, and can be accessed using the uppermost platform that appears using the Question Switch.
  • Star Coin 2: In the second room, the player should take the bottom left door. After reaching the end of that room, the next room contains the Star Coin after several One-Way Flippers. It can be accessed by hitting the Question Switch near the bottom of the room.
  • Star Coin 3: In the room with the disappearing and reappearing platforms, the Star Coin is located in an area on the top right of the room.

Enemies/obstacles

Course 2

Template:Levelbox A sky level with Bullet Bills and Banzai Bills.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: Before the end of the first section, the Star Coin is floating high above near the Warp Pipe.
  • Star Coin 2: The Star Coin is located amongst a wall of Brick Blocks, and can be unveiled by using the POW Blocks.
  • Star Coin 3: Shortly before the Banzai Bill Cannons near the end of the stage, the Star Coin is hidden in an area accessible by wall jumping.

Enemies/obstacles

Course 3

Template:Levelbox An outside volcano level with a castle foreground. The volcanoes in the background erupt, launching Volcanic Debris at the player; 10 Gold Coins and occasionally Giant Coins fly down with them.

Star Coins

  • Star Coin 1: Before the Checkpoint Flag, the Star Coin occasionally floats down from above and arcs back.
  • Star Coin 2: Going down the gold Warp Pipe near the Checkpoint Flag takes the player to an underground area with several Swoops and the Star Coin.
  • Star Coin 3: Before the Flagpole, the Star Coin is underneath several Brick Blocks but is floating over a bottomless pit.
