Template:Species-infobox A Bear[1] is an enemy in the Mario Zone of Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Bears are usually found riding atop Beach Balls, which they can use to traverse spiky and dangerous floors.

A Bear from Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins

Mario can jump or throw a fireball to defeat this enemy and control its ball. Mario can use the ball to safely cross spiked floors and get to previously unreachable areas in the Mario Zone. Bears resemble teddy bears and are exclusive to the second level of the Mario Zone.

A Bear also appears on the "Printing" screen of the Game Boy Camera.[2]
