Trick or Tree is a Duel minigame in Mario Party 6. Its name is a pun on the phrase "trick or treat," which is spoken by costumed children on Halloween when they go door-to-door for candy handouts.
Introduction
The camera pans down from the tallest tree to the lowest all the way to the ground, where the players run to the trees as the game begins.
Gameplay
The goal of this minigame is to guess which one of the four trees is the tallest. At the start of the game, the trees shuffle. Each player then randomly picks one of the trees. The players jump on the continuing branches until they reach the tops of their trees. The player whose tree is taller wins.
Ending
The winning player performs a victory animation on their tree as fireworks explode in the sky.
