Trivia[edit]

Please try to not add in useless or unnecessary trivia into articles. If you want to learn more about trivia, you can go to MarioWiki:Trivia. Mari0fan100 (talk) 22:32, June 6, 2019 (EDT)

It wasn't useless or unnecessary trivia. Super Zach (talk) 11:53, June 7, 2019 (EDT)
Also, I don't need useless and unnecessary messages on my talk page, like the one you have sent me. If you didn't agree with the edits I made, you should have made that clear in the edit summary, as opposed to adding nonsense to my talk page. Thanks. Super Zach (talk) 11:55, June 7, 2019 (EDT)
First of all, the trivia isn't exactly relevant. Plenty of games were released within that period because of how long it lasted, and the era isn't relevant at all to the Mario series.
Second, while this message or the undone revision wasn't clear, it certainly isn't nonsense. You can ask for more clarification, but unless the message is spam or vandalism, it isn't pointless. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 11:59, June 7, 2019 (EDT)

Two things[edit]

Firstly, information relating to game sales must be sourced. Secondly, game or series titles must be italicised, which is done by putting two apostrophes on each side. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 20:00, May 6, 2021 (EDT)

I'm afraid those kind of edits will be removed on sight if they are unsourced. Mario jumping Nightwicked Bowser Bowser emblem from Mario Kart 8 21:32, May 6, 2021 (EDT)
That's fine. Thanks for letting me know for the future. Super Zach (talk) 21:54, May 7, 2021 (EDT)
Hello, Super Zach! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.

If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes.

This includes series names. Rosalina costume pose in Super Mario Maker Mario JC 00:51, February 8, 2023 (EST)
