The From Cover to Cover battle in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
The battle From Cover to Cover, an example of the Darkmess Dimension

The Darkmess Dimension is an alternate dimension in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. It is where all battles take place. The Darkmess Dimension features alternate landscapes, such as the Lighthouse being surrounded by lava instead of water, and the train tracks for the Wiggler Train going into endless spirals.

Darkmess Tentacles, Darkmess Puddles and Darkmess Taproots lead to the Darkmess Dimension, as well as encounters with enemies while exploring the planets, and Darkmess portals in the story plot. Even landing on top of a Darkmess Puddle on the back of the Darkmess Manta leads to the Darkmess Dimension.

At Cursa's stronghold, the Comet Observatory's Beacon serves as the entrance to the core of the Darkmess Dimension itself, where Cursa resides.
