World 6-4 is the fourth level of World 6 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is unlocked after the player completes World 6-2, and its own completion unlocks World 6-Tower.
Layout[edit]
Mario begins the level near two ? Blocks, one of which contains a power-up. Two semi-solid platforms are found nearby, and Monty Moles jump out when Mario approaches them. Two more ? Blocks are then found, one of which contains a Yoshi egg. More Monty Moles and semi-solid platforms are encountered, along with bushes with fruits on them that can be eaten by Yoshi. More ? Blocks are then found, along with a Koopa Troopa and a Koopa Paratroopa. More semi-solid platforms are found, one of which having a P Switch in a block above it that causes a trail of Blue Coins that lead to an Invisible Block containing a 1-Up Mushroom to appear. Balance Lifts are then encountered, along with more Monty Moles. After the second Balance Lift and a Koopa Paratroopa, the midway point is found. A Koopa Troopa and two ? Blocks are found, followed by three Balance Lifts over a pit. A Red Ring in found in between the first two. Mario then encounters a ? Block containing another Yoshi egg, along with Monty Moles and three more Balance Lifts. A Warp Pipe is found, leading Mario to an area with a Balance Lift and the pole.
Star Coins[edit]
Either Yoshi or a Propeller Mushroom is required for all three Star Coins.
- Star Coin 1: The first Star Coin is floating above five coins and a Koopa Troopa.
- Star Coin 2: Directly after the midway point, there is a hidden area with Coins and a green Warp Pipe below normal ground. Entering the Pipe leads Mario and co. to an underground area with a POW Block which can be used to make the second Star Coin, along with several other Coins, fall to the ground and become obtainable.
- Star Coin 3: Once reaching the cave area, above the first set of Balance Lifts is a hidden area, and the third Star Coin is right in the middle of it.
