A Dash Space is an uncommon space that is first present in Mario Party 9 and then appears in Mario Party 10.

History

Mario Party 9

When a player lands on a Dash Space, they get to roll an extra time with the Normal Dice Block. This repeats for every Dash Space the Captain lands on until they don’t land on one. Special Dice Blocks cannot be used to modify these rolls.

Dash Spaces also appear during several Captain Events. This includes Scaredy Rat Race, in which the Scaredy Rat rolls 1-3 Dice Blocks instead of the standard 1-6 Dice Blocks after landing on these spaces.

Mario Party 10

Dash Spaces reappear in Mario Party 10 with the same function as in Mario Party 9, though they only appear in the Mario Party mode.
