Gooey Goons[1][2] are blob-like enemies in Yoshi's Island DS that hang from ceilings. They appear in a variety of colors and hang down from different heights. Gooey Goons cannot be jumped on, but can be converted into eggs. Gooey Goons swing back and forth and knock the baby off of the Yoshi's back on contact. There is one giant Gooey Goon named Gilbert the Gooey, who was transformed from Kamek's magic.
