Edibilis Boringus[1] is an enemy class in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and its reissue, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3. Its name is a pseudo-scientific corruption of the words "edible" and "boring." Enemies in the class Edibilis Boringus are simple and made to provide a Yoshi with enough eggs to defeat tougher foes. Enemies in this class include Shy-Guys, Nipper Plants, Lantern Ghosts, Goombas, Crazee Dayzees, Mildes, and Koopa Troopas.
