- In Donkey Kong 64, the cockpit of King K. Rool's getaway vehicle (pictured) is stored inside Kong Isle's geometry, so it can be accessed by using glitches to clip inside the island.
- In Super Mario World, the lava and boss door in Chocolate Fortress are recolored to match the "chocolate" theme of the world. However, the boss door is still colored red in Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2.
- In Wario: Master of Disguise, Count Cannoli's name is misspelled twice. He is referred to as "Canolli" once in the second special episode, and a second time in the third special episode.
- The whistles the Hisstocrats make sound very similar to the Flute in Wario Land 3.
