Level 7-DK+ (Level 5-DK+ in the GBA version) is the seventh level of Mystic Forest Plus in Mario vs. Donkey Kong, and the twelfth (sixteenth in the remake fight against Donkey Kong. The high score for this level in the original version is 20000. In the Nintendo Switch remake, the target time for this level's Time Attack is 60.00.
Overview[edit]
The level layout is similar to Level 5-DK, though with shorter conveyor belts and Bob-omb Blocks positioned over a pit of spikes. Falling onto the spikes will result in Mario instantly losing a life. Donkey Kong will send out Bob-ombs that the player needs to pick up and throw back at him. Donkey Kong also has a Direction Switch that he will use to change the direction the conveyor belts will move in. When Donkey Kong takes three hits, he will send out four Bob-ombs at once. Hitting Donkey Kong once more will defeat him, and the player can move on to Twilight City Plus.
The remake features a slightly altered layout, while retaining the same boss mechanics. Two conveyor belts at the bottom have been moved further down to the same level as the Bob-omb Block bridge, and four others have been made slightly wider.
