Neon Eggs are a type of Yoshi Egg and key items from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and its remake. Boddle tasks Mario and Luigi to obtain seven Neon Eggs to decorate the Yoshi Theater sign, with the reward being a piece of the Beanstar. Fava explains that the Bros. can get Neon Eggs by digging up Bean Fruits and giving them to the various hungry Yoshis around the theater, who will then lay these eggs once fed. Once the Neon Eggs are given to Boddle, he gives the Mario Bros. the Beanstar piece.
