When the Ty-foos blow, the players need to avoid them. Cause if they are still in the wind area, there’s a high chance it will result in falling of the platform, due to force of the wind the Ty-foos make. There’s a significantly lower chance to fall off the platform when a Ty-foo from the last row of 2 blocks blows and the player is standing right in front of them. More Ty-foos will blow at the same time, making it harder to survive as the minigame progresses.

Cold Front is a 4-Player minigame found in Super Mario Party Jamboree.[1] Its name comes from a term that refers to the edge of a cool mass of air moving into a region of warmer air.

Introduction[edit]

The top-middle Ty-foo blows wind, causing the players to move away (and the second and third players to jump, while moving, to not get blown away).

Gameplay[edit]

The players are standing on a 3x2 slippery ice grid, with three Ty-foos behind it and two to the right, all facing the arena. Players must avoid being blown off the arena by the Ty-foos' winds, which are initially blown by one Ty-foo at a time; as the minigame progresses, multiple Ty-foos begin to blow wind at the same time. The last player standing wins.
