Icicle Playground is the seventy-eighth course in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2, posted by P.E. Teacher. It is set in the snow theme and is set in the Super Mario Bros. style.

Layout[edit]

The first section.

The whole course is one screen tall, and almost entirely covered by a ceiling made of solid terrain. The first area starts out with two stacked Goombas and two ? Blocks, followed by a Warp Pipe encased in Ice Blocks. Falling icicles hang from the ceiling at certain spots. A Lift above a Spike Trap floor takes Mario up to a pipe that generates Big Mushrooms, which allow him to access the first Warp Pipe.

The pipe takes Mario to the second section, which begins with the Checkpoint Flag, as well as another Big Mushroom and a layer of Ice Blocks on top of indestructible terrain. Some trampolines propel Big Mario to the next area, which is primarily made of Ice Blocks with no proper ground underneath. A Twister is found as the tunnel splits into two corridors, each one guarded by a Mega Goomba. As the corridors converge, another Twister may launch Mario into two Mega Goombas and a 10-Coin on the Ice Blocks above it. Another Big Mushroom-generating pipe follows. The final screen of this section is a mass of Ice Blocks with a few pockets, one of which holds two additional Mega Goombas, and a Warp Pipe. The pipe leads to the end of the level, a short area with more Ice Blocks and the Goal Pole.
