Jellyfish Island is a resort area in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. It is found adrift in Stormstar Sea and is the last of Concordia's islands to be linked to Shipshape Island. It is home to Club Dyode, a large dance hall whose exterior resembles a jellyfish, giving the island its name. The club features a pool, a dining area, and an elevator that leads to the rooftop where the lighthouse is located. In front of the dance hall is a beach with an open-air stage where the owner, Dyode, often performs. Out of all the islands to be linked to Shipshape, Jellyfish Island is the only one with no enemies to fight.
History
Mario and Luigi come here after Dr. Vulko recommends consulting Adaphne for help breaking through Fortress Zokket's barrier. They need tickets to gain entry to the club, so they head for the open-air stage, where they find Dyode. After completing a dancing minigame, he gives the brothers tickets to enter the club. Adaphne is found sleeping on a Floaty Ring in the pool, to the annoyance of one of the staff members. Mario and Luigi head for the refreshment stand, where they drink some Jellyfish Soda and meet the man in charge of renting Floaty Rings. He gives the brothers a Floaty Ring, which they carry to someone on the upper level who wants to jump into the pool. The impact launches Adaphne upward, awakening and surprising her as she falls into the water. She agrees to help Mario and Luigi on the condition that they make her some Jellyfish Pizza, since the chef that normally makes it is absent. Once she has eaten, Adaphne arrives on Shipshape after the brothers link Jellyfish Island to it.
Jellyfish Island is last stop on Dyode's tour to help improve the Concordians' morale after Reclusa starts to take over. After Mario and Luigi have a final dance-off with him and Emmit, the two share a moment, filling some of the Bonding Can, which helps the brothers break into the Soli-Tree.
