The Disguise Kit is a key item in Mario & Luigi: Brothership, which is composed of two wearable heads resembling inhabitants of Concordia. It is given to the bros. by Technikki when they decide to go to Offandon Island in order to find a way to reach Wayaway Island. The Disguise Kit is used to allow the Bros. to enter the island plaza without being detected by Bowser's minions. While wearing their disguises, the Return Pipe or Bros. Moves cannot be used, and both bros. do not vocalize when jumping or using hammers. The bros. can take off their disguises when leaving the plaza.

On two separate occasions, Luigi accidentally takes off his disguise while obtaining Wayaway Soda from a Koopa Troopa in the plaza, causing the bros. to blow their cover. The first time this happens in the main story, they are captured and taken to Offandon Island's jail. When this occurs again near the end of the sidequest Toads Undercover, the bros. are forced into battle with some of Bowser's minions. Despite being busted twice, the bros. continue to wear the disguises when entering the plaza as the minions believe they wouldn't be stupid to use the same disguise again.

During Reclusa's rule over Concordia, Mario and Luigi can enter Offandon's plaza without needing to wear disguises.
