Rising Piranhas, or Rock-Candy Mines-5, is the fifth level of Rock-Candy Mines in New Super Luigi U. It is unlocked by completing Spike's Seesaws or Light-Up-Lift Tower, and its completion unlocks Sumo Bro's Spinning Tower. This level is the location of the sixth Nabbit chase.
Layout
The level starts in a mountainous area with two Stalking Piranha Plants, two ? Blocks, and a Koopa Troopa. Two lifts on tracks above a pit are found, circling around platforms with Stalking Piranha Plants on them. A rocky area with three Stalking Piranha Plants and a Koopa Troopa is found, followed by a Big Piranha Plant on a lift. A group of three ? Blocks is found, with one containing an Ice Flower and the top one containing a Super Acorn. Another Big Piranha Plant on a lift is found, followed by two lifts with a Stalking Piranha Plant on them. Two more lifts are found, along with two Stalking Piranha Plants and a Big Venus Fire Trap. After three more groups of lifts with a Stalking Piranha Plant on them, the Goal Pole is found.
Star Coins
Secret exit

After the second Star Coin, the player must use a lift with a Big Piranha Plant on it to reach a rocky platform above. Luigi then enters an area with a Stalking Piranha Plant and the secret Goal Pole.
