The '''Bonus Episode''' is an episode of ''[[Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker]]'' and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS [[Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker (Nintendo Switch / Nintendo 3DS)|ports of the same name]]. It has 18 levels and one boss, [[Draggadon]]. There is no set theme or story. It is unlocked upon beating [[Episode 3]]. In the [[Wii U]] version, if the player has ''[[Super Mario 3D World]]'' save data on their Wii U, they will automatically unlock the first chapter, Expedition to the [[Sprixie Kingdom]]. In the [[Nintendo 3DS]] and [[Nintendo Switch]] versions, tapping a ''[[Super Mario Odyssey]]'' series amiibo will automatically unlock the Super Mario Odyssey Kingdom chapter, which replaces the Expedition to the Sprixie Kingdom chapter from the Wii U version.


That episode has nothing special. Captain Toad explore some levels of the [[Super Mario 3D World]], returns to former levels demand from other toads, and face other former levels to face [[Mummy-Me]]. After finishing all stages, you8 unlock the [[Mummy-Me Maze Forever]], and after finish the Mummy-Me Maze Forever, you unlock the Coins Galore levels.

*In the Nintendo Switch version, it is possible to beat the ''Toad Brigade, Move Out!'' levels without recruiting all of the Toad Brigade members. While each level ends with a [[Multi-Vator]] that normally needs to be activated using Captain Toad and 3 Toad Brigade members, it is actually possible to activate it using Captain Toad, 2 Toad Brigade members, and [[Purple Captain Toad]]. The skipped Toad Brigade member will still appear in the cutscene after the Power Star is collected.

The Bonus Episode is an episode of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and its Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS ports of the same name. It has 18 levels and one boss, Draggadon. There is no set theme or story. It is unlocked upon beating Episode 3. In the Wii U version, if the player has Super Mario 3D World save data on their Wii U, they will automatically unlock the first chapter, Expedition to the Sprixie Kingdom. In the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch versions, tapping a Super Mario Odyssey series amiibo will automatically unlock the Super Mario Odyssey Kingdom chapter, which replaces the Expedition to the Sprixie Kingdom chapter from the Wii U version.

Trivia[edit]

  • In the Nintendo Switch version, it is possible to beat the Toad Brigade, Move Out! levels without recruiting all of the Toad Brigade members.
