Track That Treasure, Captain Toad!
Track That Treasure, Captain Toad!, known as Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker[1] on Nintendo Extra, and also known simply as Captain Toad comic,[2] is a four-panel web comic series published through the Japanese Nintendo portal, Play Nintendo, and Nintendo Extra website made using screenshots from and meant to promote the Wii U version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. The comic stars Captain Toad and Toadette as they go through various small adventures based upon scenarios in the game, to showcase the game's various features. 10 issues were made altogether, but only eight of them were translated for Play Nintendo.
A similar version of the comic on the Nintendo Extra website for the United Kingdom and South Africa contained different dialogue. One page was released per issue, except issue 3, which contained two. Only the five Captain Toad pages were available, with none of the Toadette ones available. The last issue did not include the next page.
