Bees are enemies from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. They do not attack Donkey Kong, but if he touches them, he will get hurt. If the Kong claps near them, they will shrink and become harmless while flying around erratically. By doing so again, they will be defeated, providing Donkey Kong with one beat.
Bees mostly appear in groups, and they can be found in various levels throughout the game.

- A Bee appears as an unused model in Super Mario Galaxy, complete with all of its original animations from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.[2] Additionally, Choppahs from Super Mario Galaxy 2 have a similar behavior and body structure to Bees, and as such, they were likely directly inspired by them.
