Sinking Feeling (known as Towers and Infernos in the British English version) is an Extra minigame that appears in Mario Party: Island Tour. To be able to play this minigame, the player will need a "?" Block AR Card. The AR card acts like the tower, so if the player rotates the AR card, the tower will be rotated.

Gameplay[edit]

In this minigame, the players use the Circle Pad to move and climb the tower which is sinking in lava. Parts of the tower continuously fall which makes the tower larger. However, metal blocks come down with the parts limiting how the players move. So the players will need to move around the tower trying to avoid the metal blocks, and avoid being burnt by lava. In multiplayer, the last player standing wins. In single player, the game ends once the player touches the lava.

Controls[edit]

  • Circle Pad – Move

In-game text[edit]

  • Rules"Please pay attention to your surroundings and be careful when moving your system. Climb the tower before it falls into the lava. Move your system around the AR Card to view the tower from all sides."
