Level 8-4+ (Level 6-4+ in the GBA version) is the fourth level of Twilight City Plus in Mario vs. Donkey Kong and its remake. The high score for this level in the original version is 20000. In the Nintendo Switch remake, the target time for this level's Time Attack is 40.00.
Overview[edit]
The player will activate the Mini-Mario as soon as the level starts. After passing through the first laser, the player needs to crouch on a raised platform or move quickly to avoiding being hit by the horizontal laser as they progress. Next, the player has to pass through four lasers on a conveyor belt, and they need to crouch at the end to get through the passage. After grabbing and tossing the Wrench Shy Guy out of the way but still on the red platform, the player and Mini-Mario need to jump across a gap to a blue Color Switch. The player needs to press the blue Color Switch when the Wrench Shy Guy is on the red platform to make it fall, then press the red Color Switch below, then climb back up and press the blue Color Switch again when the Wrench Shy Guy is on the red blocks to make it fall onto the spikes below. After climbing down and pressing the red Color Switch again, the player has to ride the Wrench Shy Guy across the spikes while the Mini-Mario moves through the passage above. On the other side of the spikes is the locked door.
