Sharpeas are enemies from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and the remake. They are the Beanbean Kingdom versions of Spinies. They cannot be jumped on without causing harm to Mario and Luigi, though their hammer attacks work well against them and Luigi's Thunderhand is also effective against them as it deals critical damage. Sharpeas are found in areas around Beanbean Castle, as well as a few at the very bottom of Hoohoo Mountain. These enemies attack Mario and Luigi by ramming them, which can be countered by hammering them. They will always jump before they ram the Mario Bros. They frequently show up in battles with Sworms, and are thrown by Lakipeas, both in battle and in the overworld.

In Minion Quest: The Search for Bowser, Sharpeas appear as enemies. They are melee troopers, and their spikes cause damage to minions who attack from above. Their special skill, Spin to Win, allows them to roll into enemies three times. Sharpeas are weak against Lakitus.
