Magic Garbage[edit]
Hello, thanks for contributing with this new article, though for future articles, please remember to follow the Manual of Style, specifically:
- Bolding the name of the subject in the sentence, not as a heading (e.g. "Magic Garbage is...")
- Italicising titles for games, TV shows etc. (The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 should be formatted as The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3)
- Navigation templates and categories
You can look at the article again to see what fixes were made. If you need guides for specific code like for images, templates etc. be sure to look at Help:Contents or ask around. Mario JC 22:27, September 14, 2021 (EDT)
Hello, I'manumber1! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros.
If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes. |

I Am Sorry[edit]
I accidentally edited an article in the wrong spot and messed it up. I'm very sorry. I'manumber1 (talk) 16:28, September 17, 2021 (EDT)
New article[edit]
The page(s) you recently created (Omelet and TRULY WILD Rice) has/have been put up for deletion, has been deleted, or turned into a redirect. This may be because it violated at least one of the policies and/or guidelines of the Super Mario Wiki. There are some things you can do to ensure this doesn't happen again.
If the article has only been tagged to be deleted you can still fix or expand it, but an administrator may delete it at any time, so please act quickly. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing! |
I'm not sure what this is referring to but I don't recall such an item being in Overlook Tower or even in its restaurant. Either way, you did not follow the Manual of Style as explained at the top. Please make sure you do so for future articles or a reminder will be issued. Mario JC 21:04, October 10, 2021 (EDT)
- This is probably referring to the food Mario can eat in the restaurant which fully recovers his HP (possibly only available before destroying the red streamer), but the only name I saw for it was "Chef's TRULY WILD Special". Nightwicked Bowser 21:38, October 10, 2021 (EDT)
- The name actually is mentioned on the "Chef's Special" sign outside the restaurant, so it is valid. I'd say it's too minor of an object to get a page, since it doesn't play a role in the plot nor do we know whether the dish Mario eats is the Omelet or Special. Scrooge200 (talk) 21:44, October 10, 2021 (EDT)
- The one Mario eats is a collectible treasure with the "special" name at least, although I agree it's not significant enough to warrant a page. Nightwicked Bowser 21:57, October 10, 2021 (EDT)

For future articles, please read through the above reminders and the Manual of Style again. Your last article was missing navigation templates and categories (you can look at other articles or even the templates and categories themselves to see which ones are suited for the page), and there's more content that could have been added to expand it a bit more (e.g. characters). An infobox should also be used. Mario JC 18:47, February 9, 2022 (EST)
Unused catch card descriptions[edit]
Where did you find out about these? This isn't mentioned at all on List of Super Paper Mario pre-release and unused content, so a reliable source is needed for this sort of thing. Nightwicked Bowser 17:43, October 19, 2021 (EDT)
I found it on the cutting room floor. Here check it out. https://tcrf.net/Super_Paper_Mario I'manumber1 (talk) 14:34, October 20, 2021 (EDT)
Now that I told you can I restore my edits? I'manumber1 (talk) 16:43, October 20, 2021 (EDT)
- As long as it's cited in each page, then yes. Nightwicked Bowser 17:11, October 20, 2021 (EDT)
New talk pages[edit]
Hey, please avoid creating talk pages to articles that don't exist as it can be easy to lose track of them when there isn't a corresponding article for them. Instead, just make your post on the most relevant existing talk page. Mario JC 02:26, October 26, 2021 (EDT)
RE: Mario Bowl[edit]
We do not have a lost media page - the closest would be the List of unreleased media. Regardless, the reason of to why I deleted the article was due to a simple lack of evidence. There was only a single citation used - this citation only included two images without much in terms of proof. A rarely documented game have a high bar of proof needed for it to be confirmed, and these two images, which don't show an actual "game" and which could have been easily edited, are not enough. There is no footage, documentation, etc, to show that these images are an actual game that released. A singular + dubious source = a lack of quality. The chance of the information being false is too high for me to let it pass in good conscience.
Also, some portions of the already-small article were copy-pasted from the blog poste. This is a large no-no and should be avoided in the future. Doomhiker (talk) 22:00, November 15, 2021 (EST)
Ok, ok ok. I'm Sorry. I'manumber1 (talk) 15:00, November 16, 2021 (EST)
Hey I found some more info on Mario Bowl and a couple more screenshots! https://niwanetwork.org/wiki/List_of_third_party_Mario_games#Mario_Bowl I'manumber1 (talk) 16:09, November 22, 2021 (EST)
- I suppose that's acceptable. Make sure to cite the sources and don't plagiarize. Doomhiker (talk) 07:15, December 21, 2021 (EST)
Old offenses[edit]
Following what happened here, there is absoloutely no point of notifying a user for an offense which happened so long ago that they wouldn't be around anymore. Even if was five minutes ago, there's still no point telling vandals to stop since they will just ignore the messages. I'm not sure if normal users can see the block log as easily as staff members can, but that often shows why there haven't been any messages towards that user at the time, not to mention spreading false information like that anon did would warrant an automatic block without a message anyway. Nightwicked Bowser 16:18, November 19, 2021 (EST)
Oh. Sorry. I didn't know that they got blocked. I'm so stupid. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again. I'manumber1 (talk) 19:26, November 19, 2021 (EST)
It's just it didn't say the user was blocked on the user page so I got confused. I'manumber1 (talk) 20:31, November 21, 2021 (EST)
- The block only lasted two weeks (anonymous users are never blocked permenantly), but they would get blocked again if they kept spreading false information. Nightwicked Bowser 06:27, November 22, 2021 (EST)
Ok I don't know if your the person to talk to about this but when that user made that fake article they actually got +1,429 for it but then when some other user tries to turn the article back to normal they get -1,433 for it. Why? I'manumber1 (talk) 14:59, November 22, 2021 (EST)
- Because the IP made an edit before it was reverted that added 4 more bytes to it. Somethingone (talk) 15:05, November 22, 2021 (EST)
RE: Virtual Boy Wario Land[edit]
You need to consider whether many users would confuse the two before applying that notice, not just because there's a one- or two-letter difference. Not many users are going to confuse Mario with Wario, or Shy Guy with Fryguy, and the titles use "Virtual Boy" and "VB" respectively, anyway. Mario JC 05:48, December 4, 2021 (EST)

Image categories[edit]
Hello, I'manumber1. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups:
When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]]or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing. |
The category link should be in square brackets with the "Category:" prefix. Mario JC 21:00, March 26, 2022 (EDT)
Please also remember to use your files within 24 hours of uploading them, otherwise they may be deleted if there's no place to put them. If you're not sure how to add them to an article, Help:Image and Help:Gallery may help. Mario JC 23:48, March 26, 2022 (EDT)
