World 7-Castle is the castle and final level of World 7 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This level is unlocked by completing either World 7-5 or World 7-6. Completing the latter level also unlocks a secret entrance which leads directly to the doors leading to the boss chamber. The boss battle in this level is against Ludwig von Koopa for the second time; defeating him allows the player to progress to World 8.
Layout[edit]
This level begins near two giant Skewers, with a Dry Bones and two ? Blocks on a platform in between. Some moving metal platforms are encountered, with Skewers in between them. Dry Bones and a Big Dry Bones are found around the metal platforms. A fast Skewer is found before the midway point. A metal platform with a ? Block above it is after the midway point, with Skewers around it. Two Sledge Brothers are encountered by Mario and co., along with two giant Skewers. A lift with Skewers around it is found, along with a group of three Skewers together. A ? Block is found, followed by a long line of Skewers. Following the Skewers, a Sledge Brother can be found before the blue doors. An Invisible Block containing a Propeller Mushroom is present.
Ludwig von Koopa is fought again here. Magikoopa forces the fight to take place on three moving platforms which change height at times. Ludwig fires four navy blue fireballs, then jumps to a nearby platform with flutter jumping. While he is casting his spell, Mario and co. have enough time to jump on him. After three stomps, he is defeated.
Secret room[edit]
If Mario and co. complete World 7-6, a vine leads them into a tower of the castle. If they choose this path, they are taken into a hidden room of the castle with three blocks. If Mario and co. go through the pipe in the room, they are dropped right in front of the blue doors to Ludwig's battle.
Star Coins[edit]

---|---|
At least a Super Mushroom is required for this one. The first Star Coin is directly after the first area with six colliding Skewers, above a row of bricks and a Big Dry Bones. Mario and co. must wait for the platform to rise, then jump on the Big Dry Bones to break enough bricks to get the Star Coin. | |
After the duo of Sledge Brothers are two giant Skewers. When they are retracted, Mario and co. must jump to the lower area in between them and enter the green Warp Pipe. This Pipe leads to a very cloudy area with two more giant Skewers, and the second Star Coin is all the way to the right. | |
Directly after the exit Pipe from the area with the second Star Coin is another area with several colliding Skewers. Inside is a ? Block which Mario and co. must hop onto and jump from to reach the third, hidden Star Coin. |
