- “Please, save those Melospheres! They're divas, to be sure, but they're sweet creatures!”
- —Rabbid, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
Melospheres are small, amphibian-like creatures that appear in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, specifically in The Last Spark Hunter DLC. They live in the Melodic Gardens, and have the ability to fly. According to JEANIE, Melospheres are musical entities that elicit layered frequencies while close to the Sweeping Tree.
When the heroes arrive to the Melodic Gardens, they find that a big gate leading to Allegra and her friend are behind it. The gate can only be opened when the Melospheres are United at the Sweeping Tree, so the heroes travel to the Flooded Ruins to find them.
They discover that the Melospheres are imprisoned in three separate cages, and so they must be freed. After they are freed, they unite at the Sweeping Tree, only for a Darkmess Puddle to trap them. The heroes must save the Melospheres in a battle known as Melosphere Melodrama. The heroes must carry all three Melospheres to their nest in the center of the battlefield, while also protecting them from the enemies. Each Melosphere can take three attacks.
After the battle is won, the Melospheres are united at the Sweeping Tree, causing said tree to glow and the Swamp gate to open for the heroes.
