If 15 matches are played here, Snake will challenge the player. If he is defeated, he will be unlocked.

On this stage, Snake can use his codec to get information about his opponents from Otacon, the Colonel, Mei Ling and (if Falco is being faced) Slippy. He can trigger the conversations with a taunt. They have no influence on the actual battle.

The Metal Gear RAY, Metal Gear REX or two GEKKO may appear in the background of the stage, but they do not affect gameplay, although in very rare occasions they can affect or damage a player.

Trivia

  • A spotlight will aim around, and if it catches a player, it leaves an ! mark above the player. Like in the Metal Gear Solid games, Snake will not get a sign if he is in a box from his taunt.
