“Oh yeah! HIYAHHHHHHH...!!!”
Mario, Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Mario Finale is Mario's Final Smash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It is a fire attack where Mario shoots a blast of fire consisting of two streams forward. The streams swirl around each other, and their movement spreads up and down farther as the attack progresses. Only the heads of the streams inflict damage, and the heads do not inflict that much damage, but each hit only launches opponents forward weakly so the flames will likely hit that opponent again. This in essence "drags" opponents along with the attack. The later hits of Mario Finale are stronger than the early hits, which allows the attack to KO opponents. The flames vanish after flying far enough, roughly after moving the distance between an edge of Final Destination to the closest edge of the screen. If platforms are enveloped by Mario Finale, the attack will leave flames behind on those platforms. In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the background turns red and black with action line effects during Mario Finale.

Mario Finale pushes Mario backward a little as he uses it, even over the edges of platforms. Mario regains the ability to move after he is finished creating the blast of fire, not when the attack as a whole ends.

Mario Finale is mechanically nearly identical to Dr. Mario's Doctor Finale, but Mario Finale deals less damage and has less launching power.

Mario Finale's Final Smash trophies in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U do not depict anything other than Mario using the move, though Mario Finale is angled upward in both trophies in a way it cannot be in standard gameplay.

Break the Smash Ball and unleash Mario's Final Smash. Mario will fire a devastating blast of fire in the direction he is facing. The attack covers a wide range and travels far, so it's best to fire this from one side of the stage to the other. The damage is impressive, and this move can actually carry foes right off the screen! (American English)
When Mario gets his hands on a Smash Ball, he can activate this Final Smash. Flames spiral outwards in two intertwining streams, catching opponents in the wide blast with ease. It deals plenty of damage, and can also push foes off the screen entirely. Fire it from an elevated position to take full advantage of its vertical range! (British English)
