Breakable block from Alleyway
Three types of breakable blocks in Stage 1.

Breakable blocks,[1] also known as space grids,[2] are rectangular objects in Alleyway that are required to be destroyed to complete the stage. These blocks can be broken with a ball, and are present in every stage of the game. Breaking these blocks grants points.

In Bonuses, the ball passes through these blocks while breaking them.

Types

In total, there are three types of breakable blocks:

  • White blocks, that give 1 score point.
  • Gray blocks, that give 2 score points.
  • Black blocks, that give 3 score points.

Gray blocks and black blocks cause the ball to speed up.
