If players touch a Back Cursya, they will be sent back to Flipside, so it is recommended that Boomer, Cudge or Bowser's Fire Breath is used to defeat one. It's name comes from the fact that it curses the player to be sent back to Flipside.

Trivia

  • Back Cursyas are the only Cursyas without a Dark form, probably because the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials would be much harder if the player was constantly sent back to Flopside.
  • Like Spinias, they are three dimensional enemies that are essentially made of a stack of paper thin disks with eyes.
  • Though the Back Cursya is not a Boss or Main Character, there is only one in the whole game (it's in the bitlands, in the area with the colorful columns).
