Back Cursyas are a sub-species of Cursyas from Super Paper Mario. They can be distinguished from other Cursyas because of their gray color. If players touch a Back Cursya, they will be "flipped out" and be sent back to Flipside. There are only two Back Cursyas in the game: one in the Bitlands and one in Downtown of Crag.
Back Cursyas are the only Cursyas without a dark form. However, the game's data contains an unused dark variant.

Naming[edit]
The "Back" part of its name comes from the fact that it curses the player to be sent back to Flipside.
