Donkey Kong Original Edition is a remake of the NES port of Donkey Kong released on October 29, 2010.[1] It is a Virtual Console game pre-installed for the European release of the Mario 25th Anniversary limited edition red Wii. It restores some missing animations and the level 50m which was cut from the NES version. Donkey Kong stands noticeably still in 50m. Despite its improvement over the NES port, it is still graphically inferior to the original arcade version which remains unavailable on the Virtual Console.
