Block Plaza is a battle course from the game Mario Kart Wii. This course appears to be based on Block City from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Block Fort from Mario Kart 64, with notorious differences. Firstly there are four character statues on the blocks with Mario on the red block, Luigi on the green block, Princess Peach on the blue block and finally Princess Daisy on the yellow block. There is also a large purple block in the middle of the course with a giant cube statue to help drivers get from one block to another. There are smaller blocks that are just there for show. As time goes on, the statues and the small blocks will sink into the ground, leaving behind bottomless pits. Various sprites from Super Mario Bros. can be seen in the sky. When playing as Mii, the heads of main character's statues are replaced by Mii heads. Daisy and Peach are changed to female Mii heads, while Mario and Luigi are changed to male Miis.
Trivia
- This is the only Mario Kart Wii Battle Course (other than the retro Battle Courses) without trick ramps.
