Ali Mustafa is a tie-seller from Cairo, Egypt. He briefly appears in the Mario series, namely in the comic "Mario's Picross", published in the German Club Nintendo magazine. Mario meets Ali Mustafa when he loses his way in the desert. He, wearing at least a dozen ties himself, offers some to the plumber.
